Industrial Cleaning in
South Portland, Maine

Industrial cleaning in South Portland

Relentless effort. Flawless execution.

South Portland is a rail-and-harbor city. Industry here runs along the Main Street corridor around Rigby Yard, out along the Fore River waterfront, and through the light-industrial streets off Maine Mall Road, like Wallace Avenue and Darling Avenue, a short drive from Maine Turnpike Exits 44 and 45 and I-295. Our crew is just across the Fore River in Portland, and we take on industrial cleaning for facility managers and owners across the city.

Built for freight, docks and heavy traffic

A lot of South Portland's industrial space exists to move goods by truck, rail and ship. That shows up on the floors and in the air.

The Main Street and Rigby Yard corridor: steady truck and rail traffic leaves diesel film, road grit and brake dust that get tracked inside and drift up onto overhead steel.

The Fore River waterfront: near the harbor and the bulk storage tank areas, salt air and fuel-related grime build up on doors, walls and overhead surfaces faster than in an inland warehouse.

Wallace Avenue, Darling Avenue and the Maine Mall Road area: smaller light-industrial and flex buildings with a few loading docks and drive-in doors, often split among several tenants. Tenant turnovers are common here.

What the crew does on a South Portland job

Dock and loading-zone cleanup: we degrease dock plates and aprons, scrub out tire marks and fluid stains, handle general dock and loading-area cleanup, and clean door tracks and seals.

High dusting from scissor lifts: joists, roof decking, sprinkler and gas lines, unit heaters and light fixtures, with HEPA capture.

Warehouse deep cleaning: racking tops, walls, man doors and floors, done in a set order and quoted to a written scope.

Floor scrubbing: our own ride-on scrubbers and HEPA vacuums for open slab, forklift lanes and staging areas.

Post-construction cleaning for industrial builds: staged cleans for new flex buildings and warehouse additions, ready for move-in.

South Portland industrial cleaning FAQs

Industrial sites in South Portland often come with their own safety orientation, gate rules and restricted zones. The crew follows them.

OSHA-certified crew in the PPE your site requires.

Scissor lifts only, operated by lift-certified crew members, never in an active truck lane.

Fall protection on the lift, with cones and barricades marking the zone below.

Fully insured. Ask for a certificate of insurance (COI) and we'll send it.

Off-shift scheduling, nights and weekends, so docks and production aren't held up.

We also handle industrial cleaning in Portland, plus Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough, Westbrook and the rest of southern Maine.

Can you clean a unit in a multi-tenant building without disrupting the other tenants?

Yes. In shared buildings off Wallace Avenue, Darling Avenue and the Maine Mall Road area, we keep the work inside your unit, contain dust at the source and schedule noisy floor work for times that suit the building.

Will your crew complete our site's safety orientation?

Yes. Waterfront and rail-corridor sites often require one before work starts. Tell us what your site requires and the crew will complete it and follow your gate, PPE and restricted-area rules.

Do you do turnover cleans for warehouse and flex units?

Yes. When a tenant moves out, we clear overhead dust, wash down walls and doors, and scrub the slab, working top-down so the unit is ready to show or hand over.

Can you get tire marks and oil stains out of dock floors?

Usually, yes. We degrease and machine-scrub dock and staging areas. Deep, long-set stains may lighten rather than disappear, and we'll tell you which ones during the walkthrough.
