CC Smart Maintenance delivers commercial post-construction cleaning in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and across the Seacoast for general contractors, developers, and facility managers. What a Seacoast turnover clean covers

Seacoast jobs run from high-bay Tradeport floors to finished apartment kitchens. Scope can include:

Clearing debris from cleaning areas, then sweeping with compound

HEPA vacuuming of floors, vents, sills, window tracks, and corners

High-level dusting of roof trusses, joists, beams, ductwork, racking tops, and high-bay lights

Damp microfiber on walls, doors, frames, and baseboards

Cabinets and casework inside and out, from apartment kitchens to lab and office millwork

Glass and storefronts cleared of labels, film, overspray, and adhesive

Auto-scrubbing sealed concrete, tile, and LVP, including wide warehouse slabs and dock areas

Pressure washing entries, walkways, and loading areas when the turnover calls for it

Industrial and warehouse buildings follow a strict top-down sequence: high-level dusting first, floors last. Window cleaning, pressure washing, and debris removal are offered only as part of a full post-construction cleaning job.

Rough clean, final clean, touch-ups: how each phase works

1. Rough clean. As heavy trade work winds down, we clear debris and bulk dust so finish trades and equipment installers have a clean space.

2. Final clean. The detail pass, top to bottom and dry before wet, so dust is captured instead of smeared across new finishes.

3. Touch-ups. A short return after the punch list closes, right before the owner walkthrough, inspection, or move-in.

Larger buildings can take several visits per phase. On a 55,500 sq ft apartment building in New Hampshire, our crew made five visits over 14 days, timed around the painters' and electricians' punch lists.

Getting your Seacoast site ready

Our proposals assume the site is ready before the crew starts:

The building, floor, or suite is about 95% complete

Floors have been broom-swept

Pallets, leftover materials, lifts, and tools are out of the work areas

Power, water, and lighting are on where we'll be cleaning

If trades re-soil an area we've already finished, the re-clean is billed hourly.

Seacoast buildings we're set up to clean

Industrial, life-science, and aviation buildings at Pease. The Pease International Tradeport, in Portsmouth and Newington, is home to manufacturing, life-science, and aviation buildings. Projects like Lonza's new cell-therapy manufacturing facility and Thermo Fisher Scientific's new corporate hangar off Flightline Road are reshaping the area. These jobs call for high-level dusting, dock cleanup, and wide-path floor machines. For operating buildings, see industrial and warehouse cleaning.

Apartment communities and mixed-use. Projects like Prescott Post, the 360-apartment redevelopment of a former big-box retail site off Woodbury Avenue in Portsmouth, and the Waterfront District on the Cochecho River in Dover, where The Truette apartments celebrated their opening in 2026, are reshaping the area. We clean unit by unit as floors finish.

Retail and commercial. Projects like the planned Seacoast Landing redevelopment of the former Mall at Fox Run in Newington are reshaping the area. Big-box and storefront turnovers need glass, floors, and fixtures ready for a fixed opening date.

Healthcare and clinic fit-outs. Projects like Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's new freestanding emergency department in Rochester are reshaping the area. Exam rooms, imaging suites, and labs need a dust-free turnover before equipment arrives.

Portsmouth is about an hour down I-95 from our Portland office, and the Seacoast is a regular part of our service area; we don't keep a New Hampshire office. We take projects across Portsmouth, from downtown and the North End to Pease and the Woodbury Avenue and Route 1 corridors, plus:

Dover and Rochester

Newington

Kittery, Maine, just across the Piscataqua

Hampton and Rye

Exeter

From our Portland office, we cover southern Maine, including Portland, South Portland, Scarborough, Westbrook, Saco-Biddeford, Lewiston-Auburn, and Rockland.

Do you take post-construction cleaning jobs in Portsmouth and across the Seacoast?

Yes. We take industrial, warehouse, life-science, multifamily, retail, and clinic turnovers in Portsmouth, Dover, Newington, Hampton, Kittery, and nearby towns.

You're based in Portland, Maine. How do Seacoast jobs work?

Portsmouth is about an hour down I-95. Our crew brings our own equipment, and we set phases and visit times with your superintendent up front so each visit lines up with your trades.

Do you clean new warehouses and industrial buildings at Pease?

Yes. New warehouse, manufacturing, and hangar buildings suit our wide-path sweepers, ride-on scrubbers, and high-level dusting. We also do one-time industrial cleans before equipment goes in or before a facility starts up.

Can you handle high-level dusting in a high-bay warehouse or hangar?

Yes. We dust trusses, joists, beams, ductwork, high-bay lights, and racking tops top-down before floor work, so nothing settles on finished surfaces. Our crew is MEWP (aerial lift) certified for work above ladder height.

Do you take residential jobs or glass-only work?

No. We work only on commercial and industrial projects for general contractors, developers, and facility managers. Glass cleaning, pressure washing, and debris removal are offered only within a post-construction clean.

When should we schedule the final clean?

When the area is about 95% complete, broom-swept, and cleared of materials. Booking early lets us line up the rough clean with your last trades. Re-cleans after trades re-soil an area are billed hourly.
