What a midcoast turnover clean covers

Midcoast jobs run from old brick downtown to clear-span shop floors. Scope can include:

Clearing debris from cleaning areas, then sweeping with compound

HEPA vacuuming of floors, vents, sills, window tracks, and corners

High-level dusting of trusses, joists, beams, exposed ductwork, and light fixtures

Damp microfiber on walls, doors, frames, trim, and baseboards

Cabinets and casework inside and out, from apartment kitchens to break rooms

Glass and storefronts cleared of labels, film, overspray, and adhesive

Auto-scrubbing sealed concrete, tile, and LVP with a machine matched to the floor

Pressure washing entries and walkways when the turnover calls for it

Industrial and warehouse buildings get the same top-down approach, starting with high-level dusting. Window cleaning, pressure washing, and debris removal are offered only as part of a full post-construction cleaning job.

Rough clean, final clean, touch-ups: how each phase works

1. Rough clean. As heavy trade work winds down, we clear debris and bulk dust so finish trades have a clean space.

2. Final clean. The detail pass, top to bottom and dry before wet, so dust is captured instead of smeared across new finishes.

3. Touch-ups. A short return after the punch list closes, right before the owner walkthrough, inspection, or move-in.

Larger buildings can take several visits per phase. On a 55,500 sq ft apartment building in New Hampshire, our crew made five visits over 14 days, timed around the painters' and electricians' punch lists.

Getting your midcoast site ready

Our proposals assume the site is ready before the crew starts:

The building, floor, or suite is about 95% complete

Floors have been broom-swept

Pallets, leftover materials, lifts, and tools are out of the work areas

Power, water, and lighting are on where we'll be cleaning

If trades re-soil an area we've already finished, the re-clean is billed hourly.

Midcoast buildings we're set up to clean

Downtown Rockland conversions and infill housing. Projects like the McLain School redevelopment, which will turn the former school into affordable apartments, and Rockland Commons, the conversion of the former Knox Center on White Street into apartments, studios, and coworking space, are reshaping the area. Old masonry keeps shedding dust, so dry work comes first.

Marine, industrial, and warehouse buildings. Projects like Lyman-Morse's new 15,000 sq ft Advanced Composites Center in Thomaston are reshaping the area. Clear-span shops and warehouses call for high-level dusting, dock cleanup, and wide-path floor machines. For operating buildings, see industrial and warehouse cleaning.

Multifamily up the coast. In Belfast, projects like the planned 60-unit Belmont Avenue Apartments are reshaping the area. We clean unit by unit as floors finish.

Hospitality, retail, and clinic fit-outs. Inns, restaurants, shops, and medical suites in Camden, Rockport, and Rockland. We plan phases backward from your opening or inspection date.

Do you take post-construction cleaning jobs in Rockland, Camden, and Belfast?

Yes. We take multifamily, retail, restaurant, hospitality, office, and clinic turnovers across Rockland, Camden, Rockport, Thomaston, Belfast, and nearby towns, with crew size and visit timing set around your turnover date.

Do you clean new warehouses and industrial buildings?

Yes. New warehouse, manufacturing, marine, and fabrication buildings suit our wide-path sweepers, ride-on scrubbers, and high-level dusting. We also do one-time industrial cleans before equipment goes in.

Can you handle high-level dusting in a clear-span shop or warehouse?

Yes. We dust trusses, joists, beams, ductwork, lights, and ledges top-down before floor work, so nothing settles on finished surfaces. Our crew is MEWP (aerial lift) certified for work above ladder height.

Can you work on historic downtown buildings being converted?

Yes. Converted schools and brick buildings keep shedding dust after renovation, so we dry-dust and HEPA-vacuum before any wet cleaning. Where downtown parking or access is tight, we plan staging and visit times with your superintendent.

Do you take residential jobs or glass-only work?

No. We work only on commercial and industrial projects for general contractors, developers, and facility managers. Glass cleaning, pressure washing, and debris removal are offered only within a post-construction clean.

When should we schedule the final clean?

When the area is about 95% complete, broom-swept, and cleared of materials. Booking early lets us line up the rough clean with your last trades. Re-cleans after trades re-soil an area are billed hourly.
